Hit Die

Hit Die is a stat that determines how many Hit Points (HP) a class can gain each level.
Starting Health
A character's starting health is equal to their Hit Die.
Level Increase
When leveling up the player gains a random number of HP between 1 and the Hit Die amount. The characther's Constitution (CON) Modifier is then added to this amount.
*NOTE* A character will always gain at least one (1) HP when they level
